For sale is a used Courtois AC421BHRA tenor trombone and case.
This model is part of the Courtois "Creation" New York line of instruments, designed in conjunction with members of the MET Opera Orchestra.
It features a 1-piece gold brass bell with soldered rim and detachable flare, yellow brass tuning slide, hagmann valve, and .
547" yellow brass slide.
It comes with a Marcus Bonna detachable flare tenor trombone case with the Courtois logo, as well as a handy zipper pouch for sheet music (pouch not pictured in photos).
this horn was purchased in 2021.
The horn is in very good overall cosmetic condition, with some light surface scratching here and there.
The slide is an 9/10 oiled, all tuning slides pull, and the valve action is smooth with good compression.
The horn plays very well, and I'd probably keep it if I weren't trying to stay in the Shires vein of things for my main setup.
