We are looking for a dedicated Front Desk Receptionist like you to be a part of our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications The Front Desk Receptionist receives and greets patients and visitors, answer and handle incoming calls.
Able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of customer service and accuracy.
Communicates proactively and assists patients with questions and requests as necessary.
In addition, handles the mailroom activities for the facility, such as opens and sorts external mail for distribution to other departments, prepares outgoing mail, and operates postal machine.
What You Will Do In Your Role: Communicates effectively with customers, visitors and staff through managing on-call schedules, overhead pages, and answering calls in a timely manner.
Demonstrates knowledge and ability to maintain privacy and security of Privileged Health Information (PHI).
Demonstrates proper use of equipment including: radio, beepers, telephone system, TDD phone.
Exhibits thorough knowledge of codes and alarm systems and is able to execute the procedure for responding to each.
Demonstrates knowledge and/or proper operation and safety measures in the use of equipment and alarms with ability to recognize and initiate corrective actions for abnormalities.
Communicates with Security and identifies and reports potential security risks for campus and individuals.
Completes reports as needed and requested by Supervisor/Director.
