ServiceMaster by H&M specializes in disaster restoration and commercial and residential cleaning in the RGV.
*Job Responsibilities*
* Follows work orders for the day for a variety of jobs
* Go through laundry from fire jobs and decipher between dry cleaning and in house laundry materials that we clean in-house
* Cleans items from boxes packed out from fire jobs
* Be able to learn how to operate our warehouse ultrasonic fire-line and Esporta at a decent pace keeping up with other co-workers
* May perform other cleaning duties (i.
e.
, construction cleaning, fire/smoke/odor cleaning, occasional house cleanings and sanitation) when part of mitigation or restoration jobs
*Job Requirements*

* Pass a criminal back ground check
* Ability to take instruction and stay on task
* Follows company guidelines and standards
* Good verbal communication skills
* Can read and follow product label instructions
* Reports to work on time
* Able to be flexible due to company's role of being a first re-sponder
*Physical Demands and Qualifications:*
* Often moving 50+ pounds, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects.
* Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching, crawling, etc.
* Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given.
* Use proper PPE where required, to include but not limited to, face masks/respirators, gloves, back braces, glasses/goggles.
* Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and restoration tools and uses
* Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
* The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
* Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude
* Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
* Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
