We want your knowledge and expertise! Job Summary and Qualifications As an Operating Room Aide you will assist the Director with the day to day operations of the Operating Room Unit.
You will assists in positioning, transferring, lifting and transporting patients and equipment as needed within the department.
Unlock the possibilities in your career by joining a team that cares like family! What You Will Do In This Role: · You will be responsible for transporting patients using good body mechanics, safety measures, transferring patients unable to move themselves.
· You will assists with restocking of supplies, and equipment.
· You will performs daily cleaning, maintenance in the hallways, OR rooms, lounges, supply areas, holding area and bathrooms including routine sanitation and assists with cleaning and turnover of the OR rooms between cases and at the end of the day.
· You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the department.
· You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the Surgical Services team.
What Qualifications You Will Need: · 1 Year of previous Nurse Tech or healthcare experience is preferred.
· Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
